SUMMARY
The Physical Security Systems Engineer ensures employee safety, protection of physical assets through the design and implementation of security systems while meeting regulatory requirements. Participates in the strategic direction of the security systems infrastructure by identifying products and services that will meet the needs of the ;
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assesses current security systems and develops plans for futures system's needs.
Analyzes security systems requirements and determines if solutions should be developed internally or purchased externally.
Determines and documents security systems requirements.
Assists in determining which security vendors will be utilized for various projects.
Ensures all new security systems meet functional requirements and are successfully integrated into current infrastructure
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
2 - 3 years experience in security system management/installation or Physical ;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
General knowledge of security systems components, operation and maintenance.
Good project management skills.
Able to design and implement security systems that protect employees and company and customer assets.
Able to meet shifting midway deadlines and work with various changing parameters in order to achieve long-term goals and deadlines.
ASIS PSP (Physical Security Professional certification.
Bachelor's Degree
