The Role
Statutory financial reporting, preparing financial statements and direct and indirect tax and withholding tax returns, IFRS accounting, maintain the fixed assets register, monthly accounts closing, cashflow reviews and Internal Audit reviews.
Essential Skills & Experience Required
10 years' finance experience of which a minimum of 3 years oil & gas accounting experience, with excellent working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and have strong analytical, commercial, financial and decision-making skills.
Advanced Excel skills.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accountancy
Candidate Profile
Arabic male (Jordanian / Palestinian) aged between 30 - 35 years currently living in Jordan and able to travel to Iraq without any visa restrictions.
Ability to manage and leverage regional and cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English & Arabic.
** This role will require travel to Basra, Iraq. **
