Reporting to: Nursery Director
Purpose of Role: To teach FS1 children and have some responsibility for the day to day running of the nursery.
The FS1/Lead Teacher will be expected to build good working relationships at
every level. Working in partnership with parents and families is highly valued and the post holder must be approachable, friendly and able to communicate effectively at all times. The FS1/Lead Teacher will be expected to respect the confidentiality of sensitive family information subject to company policies and ;
The FS1/Lead Teacher will also identify staff training needs and facilitate training opportunities. There may also be a requirement sometimes to manage supply staff or students on placements.
The post holder will be responsible for management, supervision and appraisal of the following staff:
- Classroom Supervisors (Teachers)
- Teaching Assistants (TAs)
- Nannies / Babysitters
Qualifications:
- Gender: Female only

Bachelors Degree in Education or should have either a PGCE or a CACHE Level 3 or 5 certification or have NVQ Level 3 - Should have experience to teach an FS1 class and potential to work in a leadership position at the same ;
- Nationality: Preferably Western with relevant qualifications and minimum 4 years overall experience, where at least 1 should be in a supervisory ;
- Benefits: Leave of 30 days per year and ticket every two years of service. Medical insurance will be provided.
