Plays an intrinsic part in the creative process, from initial client brief, formulating concepts and layouts, right through to production of final artwork.
PERSONAL PROFILE
• Excellent knowledge of the principles of graphic design and typography
• A creative thinker with good problem-solving skills
• Well organised with the ability to multitask
• Enthusiasm for design and advertising, well informed of current trends and issues
• Ability to articulate creative ideas, both verbally and in writing
• Creative approach to briefs, while working within corporate guidelines if appropriate
• Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design graphics and text to visually enhance documents and print media
• Responsible for designing across a range of disciplines
• Deliver appropriate creative solutions
• Assist in setting style guidelines
• Maintain design standards
• Working from art direction while also generating ideas that complement the overall creative approach
• Creating high-quality, print-ready artwork across a range of media
• Liaise between stakeholders to ensure all parties are fully informed of project status
• Quality control throughout the lifecycle of a project.
