You will join a team of engineers experienced in the construction of distributed architectures using microservices. The bulk of your work will be in Go and Ruby, but you will use other technologies and platforms relevant to your team's work.
What You'll Be Doing:
Join an end-to-end team, responsible for all aspects of a given product or platform
Design, build and own various services and APIs, from their conception to production and maintenance
Work in a business domain you already know and are passionate about
Own the operations, performance, and reliability of the services developed by your team
Solve unique problems as you cross the border between product and infrastructure
What We'll Expect From You:
1+ years experience as a software engineer, developer, or programmer
Excellent skills in at least two programming languages, preferably (but not restricted to) Go, Ruby, JavaScript, Python, Java, or Scala
You have some experience in distributed application architecture technologies
You have extensively used some form of RPC ( grpc, REST, SOAP, ProtocolBuffers, Thrift)
Strong opinions, weakly held
